    景军教授现任人文社会科学院社会学系教授及公共管理学院社会政策研究所所长。他在1994年于美国哈佛大学人类学系获博士学位，1994年至2000年在美国纽约市立大学任教并获得终身教职，2000年秋来清华大学任教。他的主要研究兴趣包括历史记忆、水库移民、生态抗争运动、弱势群体和艾滋病问题。景军是英国牛津大学2000年年度Elizabeth Colson 讲座主讲人。其个人英文著作有 The Temple of Memories，由斯坦福大学出版社1996年出版，见http://www.amazon.com）。他主编的一本英文论文集 Feeding China's Little Emperors由美国斯坦福大学出版社2000年出版，详情见 http://www.amazon.com）。其主要英文和中文学术文章散见于American Ethnologist, The China Journal, Chinese Anthropology andSociology, 《中国社会科学季刊》，《社会学研究》，及在美国出版的四本论文集。景军教授本科毕业于北京外国语学院，曾任中国日报社记者。他的业余爱好包括游泳、兰球。
