It looks at folk temples, new Buddhist groups, and Christiansas they fit into civic life--everything from creating neighborhoodsocial capital to providing emergency relief to the poor or garbagetrucks to the city government. This is based on fieldwork in 2006, andlooks for the influence of different religious tradition, differentscales, and different historical development on public behavior of thereligions. You can see that it has ties to some of your work, and alittle bit to the civil association talk I gave before. The titlewouldbe "Religious Traditions and the Public Good in Taiwan."
